THE HOUSE OF SCOTLAND PIPE BAND

Founded in 1964, The House of Scotland Pipe Band is currently under the direct-ion of Pipe Major William K. Graham and Drum Sergeant Hamish Yuile. As the official band of the House of Pacific Relations in Balboa Park, San Diego, the House of Scotland Pipe Band performs at a wide variety of events. The band has performed for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, at America's Cup events, the Holiday Bowl Parade, "Big Flag" events at San Diego Chargers Qualcomm Stadium, sail-ings of the Star of India (the world's oldest active tall ship), with touring regimental bands from Scotland and both live and on MTV with recording artist Rod Stewart. The band has also been featured in movies and on national and international television. In competition, the band has won numerous honors including the Pacific Coast Championships and the Western United States Pipe Band Championships.
